BTracks Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

BTracks is developed and published by Geovanny Raura (GR-SISTEMAS). For any question about this policy, write to contactos@bandamystics.com.

2. What data we collect

None. BTracks does not collect, transmit or store any personal data or identifier outside your device. Specifically, so that there is no ambiguity:

The iOS privacy manifest states this formally: tracking is set to false and the list of collected data types is empty.

3. What is stored on your device, and only there

To do its job, BTracks stores data in the app's private storage. None of it leaves your device unless you take it out yourself:

On Android, the system's automatic backup includes your preferences only; audio is deliberately excluded. That backup is handled by Google under your own Google account and under Google's terms, not ours. Uninstalling the app deletes everything listed above.

4. The microphone

BTracks can use microphone inputs through a USB audio interface for two purposes: so you can hear your own voice or instrument through the live mix, and to measure the acoustic response of the room during equalizer calibration.

The microphone permission is requested by the operating system and you can revoke it at any time in your device settings; track playback keeps working without it.

5. Network connections: the only three that exist

About the downloads

Downloads are served from GitHub. As with any download from the internet, GitHub receives the request and therefore the IP address it comes from, handled under GitHub's own privacy statement. The developer of BTracks neither receives nor consults that information.

About the band Wi-Fi server

When you turn it on, your device starts a server on your local network so that musicians can follow the lyrics from their phones and the engineer can control the mix. That traffic never leaves the local network and never passes through any server of ours or of a third party. The roles that carry control (director and sound engineer) are protected by a PIN, and you can disconnect anyone at any moment. As with any shared local network, use it on networks you trust.

Outside those three

BTracks works fully offline. Playback, mixing, loop editing, USB output routing and playing the instrument never require an internet connection.

6. Purchases

If you buy the licence inside the app, the payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google, depending on the store. The developer of BTracks does not receive, see or store your card details or payment information: the app only asks the store whether the licence is active, and keeps that answer on your device so the app keeps working offline.

7. Children

BTracks is a professional tool for musicians and is not directed at children under 13. Since no data is collected at all, no data from children is collected either.

8. Your rights

Data protection law gives you the right to access, correct and delete your data, among others. In the case of BTracks there is nothing to exercise those rights against, because the developer holds no data of yours: everything is on your device and under your control. Uninstalling the app removes all information it stores.

9. Changes to this policy

If a future version of BTracks changes anything described above, this page will be updated with a new date before that version is published. The rule we follow is simple: the policy describes what the app does, not what we would like it to do.
